The American Dad season 5 première will be In Country… Club and airs on Fox September 27th, 2009 at 9:30pm ET/PT. Stan takes Steve to a Vietnam re-enactment to help him better appreciate the national anthem!

Disappointingly there seems to be a lot less interest across the web about American Dad‘s panel at Comic Con. However, what we do know is that the cast did a table read from this year’s Christmas special, Rapture’s Delight, as well as showing an animatic and fully finished scene from the episode.

Daddy Queerest is tonight’s new episode of American Dad, the last but one of the current season which ends next week. Gay neighbors Greg and Terry worry when Terry’s father, football great Tank Bates, announces that he will be coming to Langley Falls for a visit; Terry still hasn’t come-out to his father! Meanwhile Steve learns the meaning of “beer-goggles”.

Daddy Queerest is on Fox tonight at 9.30pm.

As we reported last week American Dad was celebrating reaching its 100th episode the other day with a special table read for the media. Entertainment Weekly were there, and got a sneak peak at what to expect from the episode, which won’t be seen on Fox until later next year:-

“Without getting too spoilery, we can tell you that the episode 1) gives Hayley plenty to do, 2) features tons of characters Dad! fans have come to know and love, and 3) is insanely funny. And anyone who deeply digs Wheels and the Legman should be very happy, indeed.”

A month of new American Dad is on its way as season 4 comes to an end with the season finale on May 17th with Stan’s Night Out featuring the guest-voice Joss Stone; other new episodes include Every Which Way But Lose (April 26th), Weiner of Our Discontent (May 3rd), and Daddy Queerest (May 10th).

The next new episode of American Dad will be after Easter on Sunday April 19th with Delorean Story-An:-

“Stan is excited about finally building his dream car: a DeLorean. Francine encourages him to include Steve, so the two take a road trip in search of doors for the sports car. The trip veers off-track when there is a mad dash across the country to get the last set of doors available.”

Before then there will be a number of chances to catch-up with some already-aired episodes of American Dad as part of Fox’s Animation Domination line-up.

Possibly the last new episode of American Dad for a while goes out tonight ending a run of new episodes throughout March. Tonight’s episode is Wife Insurance in which Stan reveals his backup plan if Francine was to die. Catch it on Fox at 9.30pm ET/PT.

Fox have announced a month of new American Dad episodes for March. The episodes include Roy Rogers McFreely (March 8), Jack’s Back (March 15), Bar Mitzvah Shuffle (March 22), and Wife Insurance (March 29). There’s also a new episode this Sunday, Live and Let Fry, to kick-start the month featuring the voice of Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker.

Roy Rogers McFreely

When Stan forgets to pick up grenadine at the grocery store for Roger’s “Roy Rogers,” he goes ballistic, vowing to get Stan back by taking over a project close to his heart the homeowner’s association. So when “Roy Rogers McFreely” is appointed chairman and starts to abuse his power, Stan, Hayley and Steve lead the opposition to preserve the small town’s American values and take back the community.

Jack’s Back

Steve signs Stan up for a father-son bike tournament, but the plan veers off-track when Stan admits that his dad never taught him how to ride a bike. Determined to make things better, Steve helps reconcile Stan with his convict father. Meanwhile, Hayley needs internship credit for school, so Roger hires her to bartend at his makeshift bar in the attic.

Bar Mitzvah Shuffle

Steve and the gang sabotage a stuck-up kid’s (guest voice Seth Green) bar mitzvah, after he hits on Steve’s girlfriend, Debbie (guest voice Lizzy Caplan). But when Snot is wrongly accused of stealing the kid’s bar mitzvah money, he must answer to the Rabbi, putting his own celebration in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Stan and Francine pitch an idea to a cell phone company, but the plan gets “dropped” when they can’t deliver the goods.

Wife Insurance

When Stan gets kidnapped in Colombia, Francine fears he’s gone for good. Stan finally reappears unharmed, but the real trouble erupts in the Smith household when he admits that he has a plan to marry his dentist if Francine dies before him. Meanwhile, Steve and Roger play detective duo “Wheels and the Legman.”

Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) is guest voicing on American Dad in an episode that sees Stan blatantly breaking the law after Langley Falls bans trans fats. Live and Let Fry can be seen on Sunday March 1st at 9.30pm on Fox.

The truth is outed tonight in a new episode of American Dad when it is revealed that Roger has been cheating on the Smiths with other families! Family Affair is on Fox tonight at 9.30pm ET/PT.
