American Dad renewed for seventh season

Great news American Dad fans: Fox have renewed the show for a seventh season according to the Hollywood Reporter.

This means that American Dad will remain on Fox throughout the 2012-2013 season. Once more our fears of Fox pushing the series into the 7.30pm slot on Sunday nights doesn't seem to have materialised into the dreaded cancellation of the show we love.
