The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that, unsurprisingly, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi will be getting the Family Guy treatment: “The show’s cast completed a table read yesterday for a Jedi spoof script, which is tentatively titled Episode VI: The Great Muppet Caper (Ewok jokes never get old).”
Family Guy‘s first spoof episode of the Star Wars franchise, Blue Harvest (A New Hope), has become one of the show’s top rated episodes. The Empire Strikes Back spoof, or in the Family Guy universe Something-Something-Something Dark Side, will air in the fall (2009) on Fox, sadly later than originally announced.
