The American Family Association have accused Pepsi of having a homosexual agenda after advertising during Sunday night’s episode of Family Guy. The episode, Family Gay, featured a plot about Peter being injected with the gay gene. Apparently, the AFA are calling for a boycott of Pepsi as a result, despite many other firms advertising during the same broadcast.

Actually, the AFA has been instituting a boycott against Pepsi since early January, so they are just using the “Family Gay” episode as the icing on the cake. The AFA is also the same group that has boycotted Ford, Disney, etc. over what they call the so-called “homosexual agenda”. By the way, this group has been trying to get shows off the air since the late 1970s when it was the National Center for Decency. They were the ones who imfamously tried to get the Ralph Bakshi-produced “Mighty Mouse” cartoon from the 1980s cancelled because of the alleged “Mighty Mouse sniffing a flower too long that it implies cocaine use” incident. They’ve also worked with the PTC on more than one occasion to get shows, like NYPD Blue, off the air.
