No, it’s not April 1st, Family Guy‘s Stewie really is going to feature on TV drama Bones. “David Boreanaz’ Bones alter ego will suffer a life-threatening health crisis this May that will cause him to hallucinate,” reports EW.com. Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), will be “getting a visit from Family Guy’s acid-tongued baby villain, Stewie!”
“This is going to sound odd, but it is a completely believable event given [Booth’s condition],” maintains executive producer Stephen Nathan, who declined to reveal the mystery ailment causing his visions. “It’s not just a fantasy of ours. There’s medical research to back up what’s going on with Booth. There are conditions where you can see cartoon characters.”
According to the IGN website Stewie will make two appearances in Bones,“starting with a scene where Booth is in a sperm donation room and sees the infamous member of the Griffin family.”
Update: The episode of Bones featuring Stewie will air on Fox May 7th at 8pm ET/PT according to the official press release from Fox.
