David A. Goodman, executive producer of Family Guy, has been interviewed by the Kentucky Kernel about Sunday night’s episode of Family Guy which sees the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation reunited. According to the Q&A session he gets to make his own guest appearance in the episode as a Trekkie.
Goodman describes himself as a “huge Star Trek fan” and whilst working as the co-executive producer of Futurama wrote the Star Trek parody episode Where No Fan Has Gone Before. Work on that episode helped him get a job writing for Star Trek: Enterprise.
