In the UK BBC Three’s weekend of Family Guy was a big success for the channel reports Broadcast Now: “The seventh series of the satirical show kicked off on Sunday night at 10pm with a strong 828,000 (4.2%) for 25 minutes, followed by the second episode which gained a sizeable 893,000 (5.6%), making it the most watched multichannel programme yesterday.” By multichannel they are referring to those outside of the standard 5 terrestrial channels in the UK (i.e. not BBC One, BBC Two, ITV1, Channel 4, or Five).
The Saturday evening of Family Guy repeats and two new documentaries was also a success achieving similar audience figures.
