Family Guy episode 420 about Brian campaigning for the legalisation of marijuana finally gets its UK début tonight. Previously skipped by BBC, presumably due to the death of Michael Jackson, 420 is on BBC Three from 10pm.
That brings an end to the run of new episodes now that the UK’s finally caught up with the US. Next week BBC Three will start showing repeats of Family Guy starting with the extended length episode, Blue Harvest.

Family Guy finished on a high in the UK. 420 was a great episode! It made up for recent weeks. What helped was that it felt more story driven than many of the newer episodes without relying on too many cutaway gags (although that drug ad thing felt very drawn out and not funny).
Also, it is now clear why it was skipped over to start with. It would have been disrespectful to show the Jackson joke at the time of his death, and would have ruined the episode had the BBC cut it out.
