As we reported earlier the long awaited Something Something Something Darkside is finally coming to DVD and Blu-Ray and more details are starting to emerge, as well as an exclusive trailer, and cover art.
Surprisingly, Australia will be getting the DVD and Blu-Ray first on 16th December, followed by America on 22nd December and the UK on 28th December. There will be several editions available;
- Something, Something, Something Darkside Blu-Ray
- Something, Something, Something Darkside DVD
- Something, Something, Something Darkside – Special Edition (Box Set) DVD
- Something, Something Darkside / Blue Harvest (2 Disc Set) DVD
It appears that the Something, Something, Something Darkside – Special Edition (a box set like the Blue Harvest one) will only be available on DVD. The box set will contain, like Blue Harvest, a T-Shirt, Trading cards parodying the original Star Wars cards, a small booklet & More!
Unfortunately the trailer no longer appears to be available due to a copyright claim by Fox made to Youtube!

Great trailer! Seth’s Twitter update had made it sound like it was exclusive to Blu-ray and HD, but it is good to know it will also be out on DVD. He was perhaps referring to the fact that it will be out on DVD, etc. before it airs on Fox which Kara Vallow has now confirmed via Twitter as being on May 16th, 2010 (probably the season finale).

I have the blue harvest special edition box set dvdwith the cards and t-shirt,it was good but the box was made of cardboardand everytime i take it out it rips so i have to use tape to hold it together…i really hope the new special edition box set of something something something something darkside is better desighned.
