In a posting on the website for his show, Rush Limbaugh describes his recent recording session for an upcoming Family Guy episode, which is scheduled to be aired as the 2010 season première.
According to Limbaugh, they allotted three hours and forty-five minutes to tape the segment and that he had a great time doing it. He says he is the ‘featured star’ of the episode: “The premise of the program is the family dog, Brian, gets tired of being a liberal, he stumbles across a book of mine that I’ve written when I’m in town signing a book, and he becomes this big conservative and he actually becomes a groupie, following me around, moves in with me, tries to take over my radio show.”

He’s a very popular conservative radio talk show host. He’s been a pariah in the entertainment scene due to his right leaning stance on political issues. Liberals despise him, where as conservatives love him.
Seth MacFarlane is a self pronounced liberal, which is pretty apparent on his show. Which makes for such an interesting episode, considering.

An interesting signing for the show. Perhaps this is an attempt at bringing some balance to a show which has received a growing number of complaints about its political bias and liberal messages from some fans.
Actually, that is one of the reasons that American Dad works so well as the right views of Stan are balanced out by Hayley’s left standing.

Rush Limbaugh is not a conservative, he is a lunatic: the politics in the USA are all right wing. For some reason the republican party is embracing this ignorant windbag.

Zipman,
Whenever I read mindless view points like yours I scratch my head and wonder how people like you are capable of being a free thinker.
You claim that “the republican party is embracing this ignorant windbag,” refering to Rush Limbaugh and his appearance on Family Guy. (Which by the way is a feak’n cartoon, who cares whose on it)
1. Your comment is an example of your ignorance because Rush Limbaugh is an opinion commentator on radio. He provides analysis and OPINION. If you don’t agree with him, fine, don’t listen.
2. You claim that the republican party is ignorant because some citizens who are registered republicans listen to Rush (being republican doesn’t mean you are a Rush fan), ok, why? Because, they don’t agree with you? People who have a different ideology than you are ignorant? Are you suggesting that YOU have all the answers to our nations problems? Are you suggesting that your way of thinking is the only way to think? What ideology do you fall under (Liberal, Conservative, Communist, Libertarian, Anarchist, etc), because the last time I checked their are so many schools of political thought that suggesting you have the answers is only true to those who share your views.
3. You state, “the politics in the USA are all right wing.” Prove it! The television and print media is overwhelmingly dominated by left of center thinkers (i.e. liberal), as is public schools (K-12), the numerous Unions throughout the country.
How do you make a statement like that when liberal democrats have a majority in both house of congress and hold the White House?
Unless you are suggesting that these left liberals are not left enough for your taste, which would place you in the Totalitarian realm of thought. If that is true, then you should not be on the internet making false assertions and restating whatever talking point you last heard on CNN, because as a totalitarian you believe the government should have total control over your life and the lives of the entire body politic. Since I assume that you have not received permission to state your views on this page perhaps you should reconsider doing so in the future for fear of being branded a criminal and enemy of the state for stating YOUR PERSONAL VIEWS!
Good Day Sir.
