More details have been released about the upcoming Family Guy Star Wars spoof, Something, Something Something Darkside (which is set to be released Worldwide in the second half of December) involving the Special Edition Box Set and Blue Harvest-Something Something Something Darkside 2 Pack and there is an Exclusive Gallery included with this article featuring a collection of new images and cover art from the upcoming release.
For starters, the Something, Something, Something Darkside- Special Edition Box Set has been confirmed and will be released in DVD and Blu-Ray Editions. The Box Sets will contain:-
- Something Something Something Darkside (Blu-Ray/DVD) comprising of:
- 44 Min. Feature
- Audio Commentary Hosted by Seth MacFarlane
- Deleted Scenes
- Behind-The-Scenes Featurette – “The Darkside of Poster Art”
- Animatics
- Pop-Up Video
- Digital Copy (Only with Blu-Ray edition)
- T-Shirt (With Exclusive Bobba Fett Chicken Image)
- Trading cards parodying the original Star Wars cards
- 12 page booklet
Pictures of the exterior and content of the Box Sets are included in the Exclusive Gallery attached to this Article.
Secondly the Blue Harvest-Something Something Something Darkside has been confirmed, although only for DVD. The pack will contain the two DVD Versions of both the Star Wars Spoofs. The Cover Art is also included in the Exclusive Gallery.

I’m really excited about this release. I’ve not been all that impressed by Family Guy in recent years, but Blue Harvest was amazing! The Empire Strikes Back was my favourite Star Wars movie, so this looks very promising.

Not to excited about this episode at all. I personnally thought that blue harvast sucked balls. Family guy does not do any good doing a spoof about star wars.

i was lucky enough to see the exclusive preview clip shown at SDCC this year and i was pleasantly surprised. i think it has the potential of being better than blue harvest.

Its only 44 minutes? They spent long enough since the last one to come out with this new one and its only 44 minutes? I thought since they took so long and it wasn’t on t.v. that they weren’t going to hold anything back and… i gotta tell ya, im a little dissapointed.

It is going to be shown on TV some time after it is released on DVD, probably at the end of the current season, or the start of the next. It is therefore long enough for an hours airplay when commercials are included.
