Early viewing figures for Fox’s Seth night show respectable viewing figures for last night’s special schedule. However, numbers were down across the board from the season averages. Family Guy was viewed by 7.4 million and 7.7 million in the 8pm and 9pm slots, respectively. The 8pm showing matched The Simpsons last figures in the same slot. The variety show special, Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show, was watched by 6.6 million shown between the two new Family Guy episodes.
The Cleveland Show, in American Dad‘s usual time, hit a season-low with 6.3 million; whilst American Dad in the much earlier time of 7.30 pm pulled a low 4.5 million.
Question is, what was the cause of the drop in viewers (although still strong)? Fox were up against strong competition from NBC’S Sunday Night Football and new episodes have been absent from the recent weeks’ animation line-up; or was it all down to the shuffling of the schedule? Fox’s Animation Domination line-up returns to normal next Sunday with new episodes.

I wonder why they changed the second episode when it aired? From Quagmires Baby to Hannah Banana.
