According to a report in the Los Angeles Times Family Guy is the show that is keeping the FCC busiest. Apparently an episode that aired back in March last year has alone generated almost 200,000 complaints.
The FCC need to deal with each complaint received fairly, but as the LA Times points out "if a show generates that many complaints odds are it had some help from an advocacy group that got its membership to take part in a mass mailing." Dan Isett, a director of the Parents Television Council who are frequently complaining about Family Guy, is apparently linked to a high volume of the complaints received.
Fox accounts for just under half of the indecency complaints made.

I think Family Guy is the greatest and funniest show on TV right now if you so called parents would teach your children that it is a make believe show and not real then your children will respect you from the get go my children love family guy and they are excellent they are well behaved and listen this is in regards to the comments made by ptc. Stop blaming everyone else and take responsiblity for your own actions, seth macfarlene is only guilty of trying to make people have a sense of humor and teach us not to take things so serious. Family Guy should not be what everyone thinks of as a bad example but as a family show to watch together and laugh.
