Cross-overs and a guest voice on tonight's new episode of Family Guy. Anne Hathaway (Alice in Wonderland) guests on April in Quahog tonight at 9pm ET/PT on Fox as herself; and there are also special appearances by American Dad's Stan and Francine and Hank Hill from King of the Hill:-
"When the local news announces that the Earth will be destroyed by a black hole in 24 hours, everyone in Quahog goes nuts trying to live out their last day."
Update: Turns out that the whole cross-over thing was an April Fools by Fox. The promotional material was all released on April 1st. Not personally sure that April Fools are meant to span out over almost two weeks, but they appear to have caught most of us out!
Update correction: It seems like the April Fools was not quite what it seemed. Family Guy's Greg Colton (aka Rare Hero) has said the following over on our forum's in relation to this:-
"Episodes can change in so many ways before they air. They've often put up episode descriptions that are based on an earlier script but don't match up w/ the finished episode....or announce a celeb voice actor when they got recast or their scene got cut ...it's not lying ...it's just marketing and production aren't always on the same page."

Apparently the “cross-over” was a some what lame April Fools by Fox. The information about the cross-over originates from April 1st (including the promo images) but considering they didn’t essentially reveal the “joke” until April 11th and continued posting the plot details about the cross-over they seemed to have missed the point of April Fools. Seems like once again the fools are Fox themselves.

The fact that the episode wasn’t a crossover is dissapointing but still it was funny.

This is fox just using April fool’s to gain ratings for themselves.
Once again, very lame. Seeing as how the eventual crossover will inevitably happen, fox will cry wolf the second time around, and the ratings, still strong, will not be as high as this time could have been. People were probably expecting this, seeing as how the joke was off.

It was funny how they pranked the audience, yet at the end of the episode they pranked the characters lmao

all in all, it was a pretty good episode. A little bit on the cruel side, Peter towards his kids.
