BBC Three's Family Guy Weekend 8/9th May

Road To The Multiverse

Family Guy fans in the UK will be pleased to know that the eigth season of the series starts on BBC Three next weekend as part of a weekend of Family Guy related shows.

Highlights from the weekend include an all-new count down show, Family Guy: The top 20 characters, made especially for the weekend: "The who's who of animated comedy series Family Guy, narrated by Chris Addison. 20 of the most loved characters are counted down in order of who amassed the most on-screen time."  Planet Family Guy has attempted to predict the list a couple of weeks ago, so we will finally know whether we got it right (although probably not)!

There's also a chance to see Seth and Alex's live comedy show and the first two episodes of season 8 from 10pm Sunday May 9th.

I know they’re just repeats, but Saturday night’s episodes are some real classics. However, it’s Sunday night that really looks like the one to tune-in for! Congratulations to the Beeb for putting together a great weekend of programmes.

The BBC may have taken their time getting the new episodes on air, but at least when they do start showing them they do it in style. A whole weekend dedicated to Family Guy is one great way of getting it noticed. It’ll be interesting to see who makes it into the top 20 characters!!!
