BBC Three's Family Guy Weekend is here - Season 8 starts tomorrow!


Road to the Multiverse

The eighth season of Family Guy finally arrives in the UK from tomorrow night starting with a double-bill at 10pm on BBC Three. However, the fireworks start from tonight when BBC Three kicks-off its Family Guy Weekend with the top 20 characters who have amassed the most screen time and the UK premiere of Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show.

Here's the schedule for the weekend:-

Saturday 8th May

9.00pm - Family Guy: The top 20 characters (New!)
9.30pm - Da Boom
9.50pm - And the Wiener is...
10.15pm - I Dream of Jesus
10.40pm - Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show (New!)
11.05pm - Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallows
11.25pm - Three Kings
11.50pm - Running Mates

Sunday 9th May

9.00pm - Family Guy: The top 20 characters
9.30pm - Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show
10.00pm - Road to the Multiverse (New!)
10.20pm - Family Goy (New!)

Earlier last month Planet Family Guy had a go at predicting the top 20 characters. There's still time for you to add your predictions before tonight's show. Once we've got our hands on the official chart will post it on the site along with a comparison with our very own attempt at the list.

    You’ve got to give it to the BBC, they may keep us waiting for the new episodes, but when they do air them they do it in style!

    @andy, Sunday’s line-up does look the better one to sit down and watch. However, there are some great episodes amongst those being repeated tonight and they have taken them from across the seasons.

    Watched it last night, predictable but still funny. Does anyone know what the music is when they do the ‘upside down face’ kid appeal. I am trying to find it and it’s really annoying. Looking forward to tonight. Family guy is the future !

    @Shaun, this is the first time Road to the Multiverse and Family Goy have been screened on UK television. BBC Three have just started to show season 8; although as robnfw has pointed out to us via Twitter they will form part of the Season 9 DVD collection in the UK due to the confusion of seasons.

    In the UK the BBC own the rights to screen new episodes before other networks.
