Family Guy really struck gold when they decided to parody Star Wars: A New Hope with the Blue Harvest episode. It has been hugely popular and led to the parodying of the sequels with Something, Something, Something Dark Side and It's a Trap to be released later this year on DVD and Blu-ray.
However, Seth has confirmed that they won't be tackling the prequels at this year's Comic Con: "I don't think we'll be going that route," he said. "They're just too expensive. LucasFilm has been really great to us [this far]."
Instead it seems like they might be planning to take on another franchise: "We may tackle Indiana Jones, but we're going to take a break [from the parodies] first."
Is this good or bad news? What over movies would you like to see get the Family Guy treatment? Or perhaps you'd like to see the Smiths or Browns tackle something?

Another American Dad parody is I’am Legend. Stan has a plan to replace the human race with the robots from the movie i robot & a Terminator(Jim Carrey) from the future warns Stan that the robots are bad. Theres a gay robot its Bicentennial Man. They push’ em out a window.
another family guy parody could be Wild Hogs with Peter,Joe,Glenn & Cleveland.
If not Indiana Jones what about Jumanji.
What about maybe Family Guy Peter parody some of Chris Farley movies like Tommy Boy, Beverly Hills Ninja, Black Sheep, Almost Heroes it don’t have to be all of these movies put together.
Another good idea for family guy horror flick parody. The Griffens live in the Amintyville Horror house & its haunted by Beetlejuice who wants to marry Lois. Peter hires Constaintine but Peter can’t stan Keanu Reeves bad acting & fires him. Jason Voorhees butts in & Peter tells’em Megs already dead. Jasons oh okay & leaves. Stewie & Brain explores the atic they find a doll from Dead Silance. I can really see this as a real family guy parody dvd.
If not that then maybe Evil Dead parody.
