Tonight and tomorrow night Family Guy Sings! is on at Carnegie Hall (event website). Metromix have interviewed Alex Borstein (voice of Lois) about the show. In the interview Alex admits that “these live shows always turn into a filthy debacle. Everybody ends up improvising, anyway. I think a lot of the cast drinks too much beforehand.”
As for the format of the show Alex confirmed that it will be a live reading of two episodes, with the whole cast, adding that there will usually be “some hot girl Seth wants to sleep with” joining them. After the show will be a questions and answers session.
If you are planning on cornering Alex after the show take note, “we’ve got some intense fans… They’ll make me do the Lois Griffin voice. I’m fine with it, it just depends on how people come up to me and how they ask. I don’t mind feeling like a trained seal.” So ask nicely folks.
