Seth MacFarlane Establishes "Perry's Place" a Sanctuary for Animals in Need

Seth MacFarlane, in honor of the memory of his late mother, Ann Perry MacFarlane, is partnering with Heaven on Earth Society for Animals to create a sanctuary for homeless animals.

Yesterday, Seth took to Twitter to make the announcement:

"New no-kill pet shelter in my mom’s name-- 'Cause animals are better than people."

According to eonline.com, "The sanctuary will be a cage-free oasis for homeless cats that are awaiting adoption, including kittens with special needs that would otherwise be overlooked. The partnership is also starting up a campaign that will accept donations in Perry's name."

So, if you're a fan of Seth's, Brian Griffin, Quagmire's kitty, New Brian, or animals in general, please consider making a donation to this cause. I'm sure if the animals, like Brian, could speak, they would say "Thank you."

It’s good see successful people giving something back to the world and not engulf the riches for themselves, don’t you think?

    RIP Ann Perry MacFarlane
