Family Guy composer Walter Murphy has been talking about Family Guy Sings!, a live musical event at Carnegie Hall. Essentially it’s a table read of a couple of scripts, but “instead of commercial breaks, we’ll use songs from the show,” states Murphy who has been involved, unsurprisingly, with the musical side of things. As for working on Family Guy he says that it is “one of the most fun compositional jobs I’ve ever had.”
Tonight is the last night of Family Guy Sings! at Carnegie Hall (event website).

They read Stewie kills Lois.
It was nice, especially seeing Seth switching between voices so easily while singing is crazy. Although it was in Carnegie Hall, i didn’t really like the sound. That could have been better.
Was fun though

Seth MacFarlane spoke a little about The Cleveland Show behind stage. He didn’t offer up much new, other than a hint at what could be one of the possible plots of the new show. Details here.
