Happy new year from Planet Family Guy; 2009 is finally here! However, according to the schedules there’s no sign of new episodes of Family Guy or American Dad any time soon.
On a more positive note, Youtube has started releasing new shorts from Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy (now under new sponsorship from HBO which may explain its long absence). The latest is embedded above, but remember that the most recent Cavalcade short can always be found on our front page to make your life extra easy.

@George, FX have the first rights to the new episodes which they haven’t screened yet. The BBC has to wait until after then before they can show them. The BBC often decide to start series at a very late date, scheduling a matter of weeks before they air!

The new series of American Dad starts on Jan 29 on FX in the UK which is probably when Family Guy will start too.
