Seth MacFarlane was the Roast Master of "Comedy Central's Roast of David Hasselhoff," taped at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California on August 1, 2010.

According to Marc Malkin of E! Online: It was only about a minute into the show, when Roast Master, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brought up the vid (of a drunken Hasselhoff trying to eat a cheeseburger while on the floor): "He's multi-lingual," MacFarlane said. "He can speak English, Spanish, German and...whatever the f--k that language was in the cheeseburger video.

In honor of his popularity in Germany, Hasselhoff entered the roast surrounded by dancing German beer girls while performing "Hooked On a Feeling.""Marlee Matlin called," McFarlane cracked, "and said, 'Please, David, no more singing."

Among the guest roasters were George Hamilton, Pamela Anderson, Jeffrey Ross, Jerry Springer, Hulk Hogan, Lisa Lampanelli, Greg Giraldo, and Gilbert Gottfried.

The show is set to air on Comedy Central on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 10PM ET/PT.

Alcohol fuelled celebration for Family Guy nomination

Pre-Emmy Family Guy party

Seth MacFarlane hosted a Family Guy pre-Emmy extravaganza at Avalon in Hollywood last Friday to celebrate receiving a nomination for the most outstanding comedy at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards. The winner won’t be announced until later today (awards ceremony live on CBS from 8pm) and the odds are stacked against a Family Guy win, but that didn’t stop them partying. Ron Jones and his 44-piece orchestra accompanied Seth MacFarlane who performed a duet with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine during the event.

Numerous open bars were at the party, and the Los Angeles Times reports that, “the night was especially raucous (and remarkably drunken)”. B.J. Novak (The Office), cast members from Dexter, and Rex Lee ((Entourage) were among the guests.
