Seth MacFarlane wants Allen/Shatner for Family Guy

Woody Allen

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Seth MacFarlane has revealed that he really wants Hollywood legend Woody Allen to guest on Family Guy. "Woody Allen would be kind of cool," said Seth, "but I don't think he'd ever do the show."

He's also confessed that they have tried to get Captain Kirk actor William Shatner on board but "not had a whole lot of luck". "We've probably poked a little too much fun at him!"

However, Seth's pleased with the long list of high calibre guests they have managed to do the show.

Would you like to see Allen or Shatner do Family Guy? Or is there someone else you'd really like on the show?

Candace Marie lands Family Guy job

Candace Marie

Candace Marie got to voice Miley Cyrus, featuring the singer as a Disney-programmed robot that went crazy and blew up the town, last week and has now landed herself a recurring role on Family Guy.

Her recurring character is going to be one of Meg’s friends, Beth, that according to Marie, “is never really addressed in conversation but loves to chime in whenever she can. It’s fantastic and so much fun to tap into that character.” Although her interview with TV Fanatic seems to suggest she will be voicing other characters on the show too!

As for voicing Miley Cyrus, whom she claims to be a fan of, you’ve not heard the last of her. She will be doing some voice work as Cyrus on an upcoming episode of The Cleveland Show.
