A while ago we reported about a Family Guy mobile game produced by Glu. Glu have just announced that they are revamping the mobile game, Family Guy Uncensored, for the iPhone. Along with the announcement, Glu have also released some screen-shots from the game (featured above) and IGN has written an article with an exclusive preview of the game. The game will hit the App Store this September.

From the sounds of it, the game will contain the same kind of mini-games featured in the original along with revamped graphics and sounds and it makes use of the iPhone’s touch capabilities providing more interactivity.

Three new Family Guy figure toys are now available for pre-order from Mezco. Peter, Stewie, and Brian are available as a set from Mezco’s Family Guy Classics range priced $39.

Apple has just launched a Family Guy Themed app for the iPhone. The application, available from Fox Mobile Entertainment, includes 20 clips from the series and allows users to mix up their own Family Guy Videos from these clips. It also features Peter Toss which allows you to toss Peter Griffin through different backgrounds which trigger specific sounds and Stewie Pin Up which allows you to mix and match various body parts of Family Guy Characters. The app is valued at $1.99 and can be purchased from the iTunes store.

Family Guy Volume 7 is out on DVD in the United States and Canada as of today. The set contains 13 episodes taken from seasons 6 and 7. Full details of Volume 7 can be found in our earlier post.

A deluxe version, Big Fat Peter Collector’s Pack, will be available at Target stores containing a Long John Peter poster and fan art collector’s booklet.

From Tuesday in the US, Target will be selling a deluxe version of Family Guy Volume 7 (also out on Tuesday), the Big Fat Peter Collector’s Pack. In addition to Volume 7 it will contain a Long John Peter poster and fan art collector’s booklet. It is priced $5 higher than the regular DVD set.

World Screen is reporting that Fox Licensing & Merchandising have signed deals to increase the product range for Family Guy with the new characters of The Cleveland Show joining the range. Fox Licensing has signed Isaac Morris Limited to create a line of sportswear, fashion tops and outerwear. Expect to see some new men’s beachwear too.

Fox’s contract with American Greetings has also been extended.

Family Guy Volume 7 is out in the US next month on June 16th (three weeks from now). It will feature 13 episodes from seasons 6 and 7 and a lot of extras. Full details of what’s in the collection can be found in our earlier post.

It will be out in the UK in November packaged as Season 8.

Glu mobile have announced that the Family Guy Uncensored mobile game will be out in the USA just before the start of season 8 this Fall. The game features multiple levels, five playable characters (Stewie, Peter, Brian, Chris, and Quagmire), and seven mini-games.

The special Family Guy – 100th Episode Celebration previously reported for release in Canada is apparently available to buy in the USA; however it is exclusive to TWEC (TransWorld Entertainment Corp.)-owned chain stores, such as F.Y.E., Suncoast, Coconuts, Wherehouse and Saturday Matinee. The DVD consists of the episodes Stewie Kills Lois and Lois Kills Stewie, plus bonus content.

Trivial Pursuit’s latest release is the Family Guy themed travel edition. Family Guy Travel Trivial Pursuit has some 600 questions ranging from those about the regular characters to referencing recurring jokes.
