Can you believe it, today marks the ninth anniversary of this very website! Planet Family Guy began way back in the year 2000, the result of a merger between the two former sites Stewie’s Minions and There’s Something About Family Guy.

The last few weeks saw the roll-out of our latest re-design as we enter our tenth year of operation.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us and helped make this one of the greatest Family Guy websites out there!

The new look Planet Family Guy has officially arrived! As some of you may have already noticed we have been gradually rolling out the new design over the last two weeks; the whole site has now been updated.

A couple of new sections have been added to the site as part of the redesign: we now have our own search page from where you will be able to search our database of news and a new latest pictures section. There’s been loads of other slightly more subtle changes, so go explore and enjoy the new look!

Planet Family Guy is now on Twitter (actually we’ve been on there for a while, but we just hadn’t got round to making an official announcement). Twitter is a microblogging website of updates of no more than 140 characters in length. By following us on Twitter you’ll be able to keep up to date with the latest news and updates, as well as the latest thoughts and opinions of the Planet Family Guy staff.

Planet Family Guy is 8 years old today; Happy birthday us!

Planet Family Guy is back!

As you may be aware we shut up shop last year bringing to an end seven years of Planet Family Guy; but like the phoenix rises from the ashes so does the unofficial Family Guy website – we are back!

This time things will be a little different from before. Due to the successful rise of sites like Wikipedia and the Family Guy Wiki we feel that there is little point trying to continue running the episode and character guides that were beginning to grow too large for us to keep up to date in a way that they deserved. Instead we will solely focus on bringing you the best news we can from Family Guy, as well as the spin-off shows American Dad (if you can call it a spin-off) and the all new The Cleveland Show.
