Zap2it have given their first impressions of The Cleveland Show based on the pilot episode. “Henry and Co. have made Cleveland a fully realized character,” reports Zap2it. “Rallo is the Stewie stand-in here and, like his counterpart, gets the most outrageous lines.” However, they point out that The Cleveland Show‘s Family Guy style rapid fire jokes have “a definite hit-and-miss quality to some of them.”

I just watched the pilot for the second time and I thought it was very good.
I’ve certainly laughed louder but it IS the first episode after all but it looks very promising.

I’ve watched the pilot too, [content removed by admin] and it’s not too bad.
There are only a few slapstick moments, but they should have more to work with now, so i expect it could get better.
