Lois Pewterschmidt is the wife of Peter Griffin. With out her, the whole family would fall apart, she provides a voice of reason and sense.

Biography

Lois teaches the piano during the afternoon and spends the rest of her time doing housework and looking after the family. She has her hands full looking after their baby Stewie who has grown a dangerous dislike to her.
When she needs someone to turn to she chats with Brian, the family dog. As perhaps the only two members of the family with an ounce of sanity they find they have a lot in common.
Lois comes from a wealthy background, and met Peter whilst spending the summer at her aunts summer house in Newport where Peter was working as a towel boy.
