Biography

Joan and Quagmire met whilst she was working at the Griffins for a week as a made after Peter won her services on the "Wheel of Fortune". After a few weeks of dating Joan and Quagmire married.
Quagmire became unhappy with the marriage at the Wedding reception when he realised that he had entered a monogamous relationship. When he attempted to leave her she threatened to kill both him and herself, so Quagmire remained with her.
Finally Quagmire faked his own death, but things went wrong at the funeral. Quagmire revealed that he was still alive, but Death arrived to take him away; Joan stood between Death and Quagmire to protect her husband and ended up dying when she touched Death's arm.
