When Lois suggests that they ask the Don to call off the hit at his daughter's wedding, she says to Peter, "Didn't you see the Godfather?" But in the episode Untitled Griffin Family History Peter makes a long announcement about how he never finished the movie Godfather. That's why it took so long for him to understand what they were supposed to ask the Don. But then again it could be because he never understands anything the very first time.
