   That makes me laugh very hard. It is entertaining when big groups open mouth and insert foot when it comes to cartoons. Adults in this world have the narrow-minded thinking that cartoons are made and are directed at kids when in fact most of them today are for adults. I can name five off the top of my head: Simpsons, Baby Blues, Mission Hill, ATHF, Futurama, Harvey Birdman Attourney at Law. I could go on for a long time.

    They make a point that it is advertised to familes. That being said it is a great show and as an adult I love it, own it on dvd, and will show it to my kids when they're old enough. And in our society parents don't control their kids enough and some are stupid enough to think that cartoons = kids. I watch everything with my kids when I'm home and they don't have tvs in their rooms.

    this is dumb once again stop relying and whinning to the goverment to solve you problems be parents if u think the show is questionable watch it, then if it is, don't let your children do it, definition-parent: one who plays the role of a guardian, and who helps grow and nurture child...do your job or don't have children

    All TV's and cable/sat. boxes today have v-chips. All shows are rated and if you don't want your children to watch you have options to censor it. It's just that easy! So why would people still complain? It's because they think it's immoral and thats fine there entitled to there opinion but forcing there opinion on others is what there goals are. They call it morality I call it facism!

    those right-wing religious freaks just don't get it: not every show on TV needs to be sanitized so that's it's appropriate for kids. if that were the case, then every station would show Sesame Street 24/7. Family Guy rocks because adults needs to laugh too (shows with Charlie Sheen and Jim Belushi don't cut it!)

    as much as i love family guy, there is one thing that is hard to ignore. kids DO look at family guy and say "oh look a cartoon!". i used to work at circuit city and i would see little 3-6 year old kids grab a family guy dvd and ask an uknowing parent if he/she would get it for them.

    but on the flip side, it is the resposibility of the parent to monitor and filter what their children are watching so having this PTC organization is a complete joke in my opinion. i pity every one of these people for their ignorance.

    Having read through the comments posted here I get the impression that many didn't even bother actually looking at what the PTC said about Family Guy. They are not dictating what should be on TV or what we should watch. They are merely pointing out that FG and AD are not suitable for children, and shouldn't be promoted as such. This seems reasonable to me. The jokes in these shows are aimed at adults, and I wouldn't show a kid these shows, even though I find them hilarious..

    I am a parent of 4, me and my husband watch these shows and Adult Swim that comes on late at night. They all have disclaimers that come up and state they may not be suitable for all audiences due to sex, language, or violence. Our kids are either put to bed, allowed to catch up on school reading or able to watch appropriate cartoons for their ages. Like others have said before me parents please be responsible parents and pay attention to what your kids are watching.

    YOU KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE IN MY SCHOOL WATCH IT. STUDENTS TEACHERS. IT REALLY ISNT THAT BAD. STEWIE IS MY PERSONAL FAVORITE BUT EVEN THOUGH HE SAYS CURSE WORDS DOESNT MEAN HE SAY FUC EVERY SECOND. I UNDERSTAND WHY PARENTS DONT WANT KIDS TO WATCH IT SO TELL THEM NOT TO IF THEY DONT WANT THEM TO. 3-11 YEAR OLDS DONT CONTROL THEIR PARENTS.PLUS IF THEY GOT RID OF IT ID BE DISAPPOINTED. I REALLY JUST STARTED WATCHING LIKE 1 YEAR AGO. MY FATHER DOESNT MIND ME WATCHING IT. IT WILL REALLY BUBM ME IF YOU GET RID OF THE SHOW.

    Please stop dissing every organization that makes a comment. Just as one should be free to watch family guy, one should also be free to say why they don't find it appropriate. Stop saying the PTC is the only intolerant one and get over it. Don't let an opinion hurt your feelings so much.
    I love family guy and I love that not everyone loves it. Why would I want everyone to be like me? Then I would just be intolerant.
