Canada: Swiss Family Guy Robinson

We have only just received this news, so sorry if it is a bit late, but if you are in or near the Greater Toronto Area then check out Brian Froud’s Swiss Family Guy Robinson show at the Toronto Theatre Fringe Festival. Froud’s play spins the Griffins and their neighbors into the classic Swiss Family Robinson tale.
Brian Froud does a pretty good job at many of the voices from Family Guy, except Meg as according to Froud she is too hard to do. There’s a sample audio file on Froud’s website with many of the voices, and also an impression of Lou and Andy from the BBC’s Little Britain.
The play is on until this Saturday!

I managed to catch this show on Wednesday - it was brilliant. The voices are really solid and the script is hilarious and respectful of the show and its characters. Plus, the creators write their own jokes instead of pilfering Family Guy ones. The Toronto critics have been raving about this show. Very cool.
