Family Guy goes Pop-art

A couple of days ago we reported in our news section that there will be an exhibition of Family Guy inspired art opening at The Museum of Television & Radio in Los Angeles on November 8th (full details can be found in the original post). Well Planet Family Guy has got its hands on previews of some of the pieces from the What The Deuce Are You Staring At!?! A Collection of Interpretive Work Inspired by Family Guy exhibit.
I must say that I am rather impressed with what I have seen. The Quagmire piece above is a personal favourite of mine, along with Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time by Brandt Peters (the artist has captured a real sense of loneliness in this work) and Joel Trussel’s Cookiequest that you’ll find after the jump. I hope that I will get an opportunity to see the exhibition when it starts its world tour next year, it looks like an excellent collection.

Possessed Peter Finds The Magic Marigold – Ryan Bubnis

Stewie’s Inner Demon – Damon Soule

Cookiequest – Joel Trussel

These are amazing! Now… if only we could obtain wall-poster reprints ;-). I’d hang these up everywhere.
