Good news for Family Guy fans in Australia, season 4 starts on Channel 7 December 4th, at 8:00pm. The first episode will apparently be Don’t Make Me Over:
In an effort to try to restore popularity to the Drunken Clam, a karoake machine is installed. Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland start a mish-mash cover band only to discover that they can’t play. Meg saves the day with her voice and new makeover. The Griffin family is signed as a family band lead by Meg. All is well until she is emberassed on national TV.

Just a reminder to people with OptusTV in Sydney that you can catch Family Guy at the following times:
Monday-Thursday: 930am, 530pm, 10pm
Friday: 930am, 530pm
Sunday: 5-6pm
So, there you have it, no excuses for missing out.

James here, and I’ll be bringing you the latest news from Down-Under as soon as it hits our shores.
Good news is that Family Guy presents: Stewie Griffin – the Untold Story is heading our way in a few months.
The DVD is set to be released on the 25th January 2006, so keep a lookout for it, can’t wait myself.

The Happy Freakin’ Christmas DVD will be out in Australia on the 7th December.
The DVD contains just two episodes, A Very Special Family Guy Freakin’ Christmas and Da Boom!, along with a Best of Stewie featurette, which is exclusive to this DVD.

The Comedy Channel, home to Family Guy in Australia, will apparently not be able to show the fourth series of the show until at least 2007! One of our Australian visitors recently received this e-mail response from the channel:-
“We checked with Programming and we won’t have Series 4 of Family Guy available to acquire until 2007, which we are all very disappointed about!!”
However, you can still catch old episodes on the Comedy Channel in the meantime.
Better news in New Zealand where the forth series is currently being shown Saturday nights at 8pm on TV3. Old episodes of Family Guy can also be seen on C4 in New Zealand, weeknights at 7pm.

It has been drawn to our attention that Family Guy is really being neglected in Australia. Family Guy got stopped right after the second series episode ‘Da Boom’ and hasn’t been seen since. Apparently this was just two weeks before the 2000 Summer Olympic

Family Guy is returning to TV in New Zealand. It’s being shown on TV4 Fridays at 8pm. Previously unshown episodes of series 2 are going to be shown, details can be found here.

A new forum has been added to the International section of the Family Guy Forum today after we received a request for one. Apparently if you want to watch FG in Australia series 1 and 2 are on FOX 8 with series 3 coming to Channel 7 later in the year.

I have received news that Channel 7 apparently dropped Family Guy is Australia. It can now be seen every Saturday at 20.00 on FOX8. They are currently re-running the first series episodes. Full episode details can be found in the Episode Guide, as well as Schedule details although there is still no Family Guy in the UK or US.
