You may recall a post I made back in July about Brian Froud’s Swiss Family Guy Robinson. Well Brian has been in touch with us to thank us for the support and to inform us that he is performing live again for two weeks in Toronto. He will be performing at the Diesel Playhouse September 26th-30th and October 3rd-7th at 8pm (tickets $15).

Last week we reported about the Swiss Family Guy Robinson act at the Toronto Theatre Fringe Festival. The show received great reviews from both critics and Family Guy fans alike.
Well the show received the Patron’s Pick, as well as being selected by the Diesel Playhouse as part of its The Best of The Fringe showcase! So those in the Toronto area have another chance to catch Brian Froud’s show at the Diesel Playhouse (56 Blue Jays Way) in Toronto on July 19 (9pm – tonight), July 20 (7pm), and July 21 (9pm).

We have only just received this news, so sorry if it is a bit late, but if you are in or near the Greater Toronto Area then check out Brian Froud’s Swiss Family Guy Robinson show at the Toronto Theatre Fringe Festival. Froud’s play spins the Griffins and their neighbors into the classic Swiss Family Robinson tale.
Brian Froud does a pretty good job at many of the voices from Family Guy, except Meg as according to Froud she is too hard to do. There’s a sample audio file on Froud’s website with many of the voices, and also an impression of Lou and Andy from the BBC’s Little Britain.
The play is on until this Saturday!

More news on the international front, GlobalTV in Canada are showing series 2 episodes on Tuesday nights at 8pm Atlantic time. Next Tuesday there’s another chance to see Peter become beautiful in “He’s Too Sexy For His Fat”, then on June 5th the Griffin’s discover they are not part of the US in “E. Peterbus Unum”.
