Planet Family Guy Fall 2006 relaunch

Welcome to the new Planet Family Guy site. We’ve given the site a complete make-over to follow on from the relaunch we gave our sister site Planet American Dad the other week. We have changed everything, adding loads of new features along the way. For details of the changes read on, otherwise go explore the site and find out for yourself…
Firstly we’ve changed the way we post news on the site. Important official news will be posted in our News section whilst all other news, as well as rumours, gossip, and comment will be posted in a less formal way in our blog. The latest from the two sections will appear all together on the home page, and links to the most recent posts from both sections appear in the side panel (right) on every page of the site. As a result we are now offering three RSS feeds: a general feed (news+blog), a news feed, and a blog feed.
Other changes include a simplified episode guide where you can now submit facts, bloopers, and visual gags (as “episode notes”) to the episode capsules as well as cultural references. Whilst simplified the episode guide is still as indepth as ever and hosts a load of new information. In the character guide you can now rate characters, similar to the episode rating feature. The site search tool has also been transformed to make it easier to find what you are looking for.
The wallpapers section has been fixed, which I know will please many of you who have been e-mailing us to ask why the wallpapers were not working.
There are many other changes, as well as a lot of updated content (the character and location guides have been particularly built-up), so take a look around the site and enjoy!
