Last Tuesday Alex Borstein launched her new one-woman show DVD Drop Dead Gorgeous at the ACME comedy theatre in Los Angeles (where Alex started out). The party included special guests Adam Carolla and Seth MacFarlane among others. We’ve got some exclusive photos from the occasion (below) including one of Alex and Seth MacFarlance singing their famously filthy rendition of You Don’t Bring Me Flowers as Lois and Peter.
Drop Dead Gorgeous In a Down-to-Earth Bombshell Sort of Way is out now on DVD, a great Christmas gift for any fan of Family Guy or the wonderful Alex Borstein herself. You’ll find a clip of Alex in her stand-up act over at YouTube entitled Vagina Soap (also available via Alex’s MySpace). We posted some teaser trailers for the DVD earlier today featuring Ms. Swan.

A new Family Guy book is coming out on October 17th titled Brian Griffin’s Guide to Booze, Broads, and the Lost Art of Being a Man. It’s a follow up to Steve Callaghan’s Stewie’s Guide to World Domination, but written from Brian’s perspective. The book is by Andrew Goldberg.
In his tour de force, Brian Griffin’s Guide to Booze, Broads, and the Lost Art of Being a Man, Brian breaks down what’s wrong with men today;how they’ve gone soft, where they’ve lost their way in fashion, and why the TV they watch and the music they listen to stink worse than one of Peter’s cabbage farts. But this essential guide also shows men how to get their act together again.
As a true ladies’ man, Brian’s met all kinds;from classy dames to skanky broads. Share in his secrets on how to woo a woman, how to deal with heartbreak, and how to avoid venereal disease.
Of course, it’s not always easy being a dog. Between fear of vacuum cleaners and electric fences, and the overwhelming desire to drag one’s hindquarters across a patch of grass, life can be pretty demanding. To ease his pain, Brian’s been known to hit the bottle. Don’t miss his tips on drinking with panache-;including some of his all-time favorite toasts!
There’s no creature better equipped to tell you how to be a man’s man than man’s best friend. And, with all due respect to Scrappy-Doo and the Taco Bell Chihuahua, there’s no dog more erudite or debonair than Brian Griffin.

It has been announced that Seth MacFarlane et al. will be providing their voices for the new Take-Two Family Guy video game due for release on October 25. According to IGN Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Mila Kunis, Seth Green, and Adam West will all be lending their vocal talents to the game.
The game will be available from October 25 on* PS2, PSP, and Xbox in the US. In the UK the game is available from October 20 (according to Amazon.co.uk, I expect this will change nearer the date to reflect the US release date) on PS2, PSP, and Xbox.
*Purchasing the game from these links will help support the running costs of this site.
